Below is an art piece I began several years ago but never finished. While the concept was strong, I worried that I didn't have the skill to truly bring my vision to life, and I let the piece languish.

However, recently I was looking through an older folder of humorous images saved from the internet and found this:

The date attached says I saved this to my PC a few years before I started my own project. Even though I'm of the opinion that I had forgotten all about this gif and was rather organically inspired by the album cover in its original glory, by bloglaw I'm required to disclose this history to my readership. 

This gif of course has its virtues--recycling Paul Simon's chin was clever, and I wish I had thought of it. On the other hand, even while unfinished, my version still holds its own, you must admit. Ultimately, it's OK if you prefer mine, and it's OK if you prefer this one. Sometimes there's not an obvious choice.
