Rewatching Scrubs S1 and wondering what business exactly a show with this many goofy sound effects has being so good. Now I'm mentally erasing the words "this many goofy sound effects" and subbing in the words "a guest appearance from Brendan Fraser" and wondering again.

Also smacking me facially is that Liz Lemon's relationship with Jack Donaghe (sp?) on 30 Rock is almost exactly that of J.D. and Dr. Cox here on good old Scrubs.

Cox/Donaghe (sp?):

-bosses + reluctant mentors

-rough exteriors but really care

-make constant mocking reference to physical and emotional traits deemed to be like that of the opposite sex of the mockee

-etc.

Don't ask me how does Tina Fey sleep at night because I don't know.
