Unpopular opinion: Kobe would’ve died anyway from coronavirus. 

 

 

 

Update (7/30) - With this new information below, it's clear that it was disrespectful to Mr. Bryant to be so flippant about his death before. I am sorry.

 

Newly available information from the CDC suggests the coronavirus had been in the U.S. for less than 24 hours when it found itself on the same helicopter flight as Kobe Bryant on that fateful day in January. The helicopter eventually plummeted to the earth as Bryant wrestled with the novel virus for control of the craft. If not for Kobe Bryant’s quick thinking and courageous actions, the coronavirus would have landed on U.S. soil weeks earlier than it did, costing thousands more American lives. 

 

I'm crying so hard right now. He died a hero! God bless you, Kobe!
